Dan's strong tenor voice is a key factor in the energy created in Dulahan's music.  His lead vocal interpretations of some of the traditional pub classics are filled with respect for the original traditional versions, and often infused with his infectious humor.  Dan's background is also in acoustic folk as his parents were folk performers.  Prior to joining Dulahan he performed demo work in the country genre.  Dan's soaring lines on the highland pipes are a highlight of the bands' live performances.
