Fort Rowdy Gathering

The Fort Rowdy Gathering is a long time event   that has been held in early october for  quite a while . This year the Gathering  is moving to the Labor Day weekend .  The event is an all ages festival , free admission , entertainment all weekend  and lots of period  reenactments from  the 1800 s including an encampment .  ( Period dress or participation in the encampment are not required at all but if you would like to try it checkout the  Website )    Dulahan was  scheduled to perform there for the first time in 2013 but torrential rains  kept the entertainment on hold . We are happy to announce we have been invited  back to play on the new weekend  ( August 31st 2014 )  so we hope  to see lots of folks at our first appearance  at the Gathering . Its held at Community Park in Covington , Ohio which is a short drive north up Route 48 from the metro Dayton , Ohio area  so we hope to see a lot of familiar faces and make a host of new friends .          Come join us for a fun Labor Day weekend !!
