This year the <strong>Gathering \u00a0<\/strong>is moving to the Labor Day weekend . \u00a0The event is an all <em><strong>ages festival , free admission<\/strong><\/em> , entertainment all weekend \u00a0and lots of period \u00a0reenactments from \u00a0the 1800 s including an encampment . \u00a0( <em><strong>Period dress or participation in the encampment are not required at all but if you would like to try it checkout the \u00a0Website<\/strong><\/em> ) \u00a0 \u00a0<em><strong>Dulahan<\/strong> <\/em>was \u00a0scheduled to perform there for the first time in 2013 but torrential rains \u00a0kept the entertainment on hold . We are happy to announce we have been invited \u00a0back to play on the new weekend \u00a0( August 31st 2014 ) \u00a0so we hope \u00a0to see lots of folks at our first appearance \u00a0at the Gathering .
