INVISIBLE SCAR from Dulahans upcoming 11th CD “AMERICAN ROOTS”

As many of you are aware, Dulahan was working hard in the studio on our 11th Cd project, AMERICAN ROOTS, when the Coronavirus turned everything upside down. One of the songs slated for release on the CD is another Dulahan original titled, INVISIBLE SCAR. The song tells the plight of a Veteran who finds himself homeless and struggling with the emotional baggage of suddenly being thrust back into civilian society after a traumatic tour of duty. Although progress has been made in reducing Veteran homelessness in the United States, it’s still far too prevalent.  We thought Veterans Day was a perfect  opportunity to share this song with everybody  as a preview of the new CD, which we hope to release in 2021.

Stay safe and know we miss you all.

Stay Safe Friends!!

As a band we want to encourage everyone to stay safe and healthy during this trying time. Please know we miss being able to share our music with you all and look forward to the day when we can again do what we love to do as a group. In the meantime you can grab  little snippets of our music from our Facebook page where we played and posted  some St Patricks Day tunes together  before the social distancing edict. Kyle has  also been digging into the Dulahan  archives in his home studio and recording some acoustic songwriter video versions of some the old Dulahan songs from the early days (and a few new tunes he’s written). A number of these  are up on our Facebook page as well so check them out.  And of course, you can always listen to  or download all of our music on the major streaming sites or purchase any of our 10 Albums at Amazon or CD Baby. Stay well all and we hope to see everyone sooner than later.

A Tough St Patricks Day and we missed you

The last couple weeks have brought some changes and challenges to all of our lives. The disappointment of not being able to share our music with everybody during all the St Patricks festivities we had scheduled seems trivial compared to what many folks are facing. But we hope  bringing a bit of our music to our friends can help in some little way. To that end, we took a break from recording the new album on St Patricks Day  and made a few live “unplugged” videos live in the studio for everyone who had planned to join us for all the fun shows that had to be cancelled. We just posted some of the videos on the DULAHAN Facebook page and encourage everyone to check them out.
So sit back with a 1/2 Pint of Guinness (or a full one!) and enjoy.

Everyone please be safe and we look forward to the release of  our 11th CD “American Roots”  this summer  and at some point  to resuming our  scheduled slate of fun 2020 shows.

Slainte,

Kyle, Leo, Mark, Pauline
